Before you need it

Download your map on Wi-Fi

Maps are stored on the phone, region by region. Open the app at home, pick your region and let it download fully before you rely on it.

Test it in airplane mode

Once set up, switch on airplane mode and try the map, the compass and a guide search. Everything should still work.

Common questions

The compass arrow is jumping around

Move the phone slowly in a figure-of-eight a few times to calibrate it, and keep it away from magnets, car dashboards and metal.

My position is out of date

To save battery, the app checks your position once an hour by default. Tap "Where am I" for a fresh fix, or change the interval in Settings.

How do I move my plan to a new phone?

Use Share nearby on the old phone to send the group plan, routes and waypoints to the new one by QR code or AirDrop / Quick Share.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple and Google. Request a refund through the App Store or Google Play.
